Today I (legally) ventured out of Wisbech for the first time this lockdown. I spent the day driving to London with my sister and a car packed full of belongings to help her move houses. She is starting her new job in the NHS soon, and I couldn’t be more proud of her.

It was reassuring and equally eerie to drive along empty roads. Frost covered trees lined both sides of the desolate M1 motorway, the blend of white and grey clashed against the clear blue sky.

I returned to Wisbech at around 7pm, mentally drained from staring at roads for several hours. Tonight I’ll have a chilled evening playing some PS4 with the boys.

On Friday evening I missed a group call with my boss and two other colleagues, they work much later than I do, so I should chase this up in the morning. I hope I haven’t broken anything.
